SCOPE: The Plano Independent School District (Plano ISD) is seeking proposals for the purchase of Library Media and Digital Resources and Services. The resources procured under this contract will be used by campus librarians, classroom teachers, instructional coaches, and students from prekindergarten through twelfth grade. All offerings must align with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills standards, support the diverse reading levels and language needs represented across the district, and meet applicable student data privacy requirements under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. Plano Independent School District, TX requires vendors to provide one or more of the following categories of library media and digital resources. Vendors may respond to any applicable category or combination of categories based on their area of expertise and available inventory, which includes but is not limited to: Digital and E-Book Collections; Digital Databases and Online Reference Resources; Streaming Video and Multimedia Educational Content; Learning Management System - Compatible Resources and Curriculum Supplements, and Training Services. This proposal is being issued in accordance with Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (2 CFR) Part 200 requirements to procure vendors who provide goods and/or services purchased by Plano ISD using federal dollars. This proposal may be used with local, state, federal and grant funded programs. NOTE: This RFP replaces or will replace the following awards: 2021-033 Library Media and Digital Resources (exp. 10/31/2026) IF AWARDED TO THE REFERENCED RFP ABOVE, PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS RFP TO PREVENT A LAPSE OF AN AWARD/CONTRACT WITH PLANO ISD. ESTIMATED ANNUAL EXPENDITURE: The estimated expenditure for this district-wide contract is approximately $500,000 annually. However, this estimate should not be construed to be a guarantee of either minimum or maximum since usage is dependent upon actual needs and available funding. This estimate may be exceeded by 25% annually. TERM: The initial term of this RFP will be for one (1) year from date of award. This contract, unless terminated early, will automatically renew for four (4) additional one (1) year periods. Plano ISD has the option to extend this RFP at the end of the performance period for up to 120 days if determined to be in the best interest of the district to ensure availability of products and/or services.
