The estimated budget for this project is $624,750.00. The timeline for completion is 75 calendar days from notice to proceed and liquidated damages are $500.00 per day. Note that demolition and wall patching must occur from May 14, 2026 through May 29, 2026. This project must be completed by the end of July 2026 for the start of the fall 2026 semester. Do not submit a bid if you are unable to perform the work during this timeline. This Project is subject to prevailing wage requirements and Contractor and its Subcontractors are required to pay all workers employed for the performance of this Contract no less than the applicable prevailing wage rate for each such worker. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations. A bidder's bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California as a surety, made payable to the District, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid must be attached to the contractor's response. A Mandatory Bidders Conference will take place at Santa Rosa Junior College, 1501 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa, CA, 95401. Meet at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 in front of the Race Health Sciences Building. Please see attached Santa Rosa campus map for location information. Technical questions must be submitted to Dustin Lee of Strata ap Architecture via email at dlee@strataap.com on or before March 2, 2026 at 5 PM (PST) - An addendum to answer the questions will be issued no later than March 10, 2026 at 1:00 pm through the electronic bid system. Bid responses are due by 1:00 PM (PDT) on March 17, 2026. Once the deadline has passed the electronic bid system will not allow late submissions. Please note that items marked with a red * are required and the system will not allow you to submit unless all required items are completed. Right after the bid deadline, a public bid opening will take place in the north wing of Bailey Hall room 1318 on the Santa Rosa Campus, 1501 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95401. There is no need to attend, though, because bids are unsealed electronically and emailed to all bidders. After a Notice of Award is issued, the successful contractor will be required to expeditiously submit payment and performance bonds and a signed contract. The Sonoma County Junior College District utilizes the college district website https://srjc.ionwave.net/login.aspx and the Press Democrat http://www.pressdemocrat.com/ for notification of formal solicitation opportunities. These are the only forms of notification authorized by the college District. Sonoma County Junior College District shall not be responsible for receipt of notification and information received from any other source other than those listed.
