A1: Cleaning requirements are as follows: All fire alarm detectors shall be cleaned using compressed air. Detectors located within the housing facilities listed below shall receive a full cleaning in accordance with the detector manufacturer's recommendations. Due to scheduling limitations, detector cleaning may be performed up to six (6) months prior to the required testing date. Bidders shall provide a separate unit cost for full detector cleaning per manufacturer recommendations. This cost may be utilized as either an additive or deductive item at the University's discretion. A detector sensitivity report shall be included with the final testing report following completion of testing. The SNAC panel list provided has 12 buildings that do not appear to be to be on the Master Fire Alarm Device List. The buildings are ABNR, Ag Building & AG lab, Ag Engineering, Arts and Science, ASRC, Black Culture Center, Center for Missouri Studies, Lewis & Clark Hall, MITC, Physics, Trowbridge and Vet Med diagnostics. Are these perhaps under a different name on the Master Fire Alarm Device List? If not, can device counts be provided? So that an accurate quote be given for these buildings. A2: Any buildings that were inadvertently omitted from the original Master Fire Alarm Device List are included in the attached addendum document with associated device counts. Bidders shall utilize the additional device list included with this addendum when preparing their proposals. Device counts for the omitted buildings have been added to facilitate accurate pricing. The University continues to review campus inventory records. If additional buildings or devices are identified prior to bid closing, they will be issued through a subsequent addendum.
