    Description

    FUNDED IN PART OR IN WHOLE BY: U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Program. Contractors are required to comply in accordance with Federal Grant Requirements, 2 CFR part 200 and 24 CFR part 570, terms, conditions, and specifications. Notice to Bidder Invitation to Bid (B) Lee County, Florida, is requesting bids from qualified individuals/firms for the attached solicitation. GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK Lee County Board of County Commissioners seeks to contract a qualified contractor to provide installing articulated concrete block mat (ABM) shoreline stabilization at the Punta Rassa / Sanibel boat ramp area. Work shall include site preparation, placement of geotextile fabric and aggregate base, installation and anchoring of open-cell articulated block mats, and construction of associated concrete elements such as ribbon curb and cutoff walls. The work also includes restoration of disturbed areas and implementation of erosion and sediment control measures. The project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The County may not accept incomplete Bids. Those individuals/firms interested in being considered for this solicitation are instructed to submit, in accordance with specifications, their sealed bids, pertinent to this project prior to the date and time specified to the office of the Procurement Management Director, either electronically via Ion Wave or hand-delivered to 2115 Second Street, 1st Floor, Fort Myers, FL 33901. Hand-delivered Bids shall be received in a sealed envelope, prior to the time scheduled to receive Bids, and shall be clearly marked with the solicitation name, solicitation number, bidder name, and contact information as identified in these solicitation documents. Ensure all requested attachments are included as specified and the Bid Invitation is signed and dated.
