Section 104 on Page 4-104-1 of the special provisions directs that on Carey Ave between Pecos and Nellis the contractor is to keep 2 lanes of travel in each direction and a turn lane at signalized intersections open at all times. It is not possible to maintain 2 lanes of travel in each direction while installing new conduit at lip of gutter. Trenching at lip of gutter will require 20'-24' minimum.
