    Description

    The construction project includes: The Project consists of the construction of City of Celina’s Downtown WRF Improvements include a headworks facility including influent screening with screenings transport and processing facilities, together with grit removal with grit pumping and grit processing facilities, an influent pumping facility, aeration basin splitter box, influent flow meters, aeration basin facilities with aeration blower facilities, mixed liquor splitter facilities, secondary clarification, and return activated sludge (RAS) and/was waste activated sludge (WAS) pumping facility. Tertiary filtration facilities are followed by ultraviolet (UV) disinfection facilities with an effluent metering facility. Installs additional UV disinfection trains and associated appurtenances in existing UV channels and installs new control appurtenances. An electrical distribution with adjoining office/laboratory facilities is provided together with a standby power generator unit. Sludge transfer pumps direct solids from the existing sludge holding tanks to a sludge dewatering facility that uses belt press technology. Chemical facilities, odor control facilities and an administration facility are project elements. The project includes an associated array of piping enhancements, site development enhancements, drainage improvements and civil/yard enhancements, install power supply from electric utility, interconnect with City’s potable water network, together with electrical, instrumentation, and control enhancements to develop a complete and functional facility capable of treating 3.0 MGD permitted design flow.
