Sealed bids for the Airport Sustainability Improvements – Phase 1 project will be received by the Williamson Flying Club (Owner) at the offices of Passero Associates (242 West Main Street Suite 100, Rochester, NY 14614) until 2:00 PM, local time, July 10th, 2026 and there, at said office, at said time, publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Airport Sustainability Improvements – Phase 1”. The project generally consists of the installation of 14 new hangar doors on an existing T-Hangar building, replacement of 14 asphalt hardstands with concrete, and replacement of light fixtures within the building. The project will be bid as a Base Bid only. Prevailing wage rates apply. Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents. A NYS M/W/SDVOB participation goal is included in the Contract. This project is funded by two separate NYSDOT grants: (4912.87; K007491) & (4912.88; K007581). The bid items are separated between their respective grants, and the Contractor will be required to submit two (2) separate pay applications and comply with the NYS Equitable Business Opportunity Solution (EBO) as described on Bid Page 13 of the Contract documents. Bidders are required to submit prices for all items in both Base Bids. The total price read aloud at Bid Opening will be the sum of Base Bid 1 and Base Bid 2 and there will be 1 apparent low bidder. The two Base Bids shall not be awarded to separate contractors. A complete set of Bid Documents, consisting of the General Provisions, Special Provisions, Technical Specifications, Bid, Agreement and Contract Drawings, will be available on June 18th, 2026 and may be obtained from Passero Associates at www.passero.com under the ‘BID’ tab. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Airport at 11:00am, June 24th, 2026. Copies of the Contract Documents described above may be examined at no expense at the offices of Passero Associates. Technical questions shall be directed to James Dolan of Passero Associates (Email: jdolan@passero.com); and visits to the site shall be coordinated with Mike Bjerga, Airport Manager (Phone: (585) 721-4635). RFIs shall be accepted until 5:00pm on July 1st. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. The Owner is not exempt from payment of Sales and Compensating Use Taxes in the applicable State, local cities, towns, and counties on all materials and supplies sold to the Owner pursuant to the provisions of this Contract. These taxes are to be included in bids. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the bid and to reject any and all bids. Williamson Flying Club, Inc.
