    Description

    The State University of New York at Buffalo, hereafter referred to as "the University," is offering a Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Hoist and Crane Inspection and Repair Services at the University's Campuses. This includes all labor, equipment, and material necessary to inspect and repair about forty five (45) assorted hoists and cranes as well as numerous nylon slings, engineered chains, etc. at the University in accordance with associated Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) requirements. The successful Bidder/Contractor shall be responsible for hoist and crane inspection and repair at all University at Buffalo North, South and Downtown Campuses and all other University-affiliated facilities, present and future, as designated by the University. The University reserves the right to add or remove equipment to be inspected at any time throughout the length of this Contract. Business enterprises awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: Simmers Crane Minority / Women Business Enterprise contracting goals (MWBE) Total MWBE Goals: 30.00%
