Q (Period of Performance): Please clarify the POP for this project. In addendum #1 “the pre-bid meeting agenda/notes”, in section 4 it references the work to be completed within 90 days. A: Work shall be completed within 20 days from Notice to Proceed.
Q (Striping Removal): In addendum #1 section 4 it references that removal of striping that conflicts with new layout / plans. However, on page 2 of the special provisions section 1.04 it states, “contractor shall remove existing linear striping from the roadways prior to the application of temporary or permanent linear striping.” Can you please confirm which is correct? Are removals only needed where the plans conflict with existing striping or do we need to remove all striping prior to installing new striping?

Could you please confirm if this setup meets the licensing requirements for bidding this project?
A: This setup should be fine. For more information, please look in Section 00 21 13 "Instruction to Bidders" in the Bid Docs. Specifically subsection 1.09 "Subcontractors."
