Electronic quotes can not be accepted after the specified date/ time. Quotes received late will not be considered in the evaluation. SCOPE: The San Antonio Water System is soliciting quotes to pilot and evaluate pump protection and anti-ragging technologies intended to reduce pump clogging, improve operational reliability, and lower maintenance and energy costs at wastewater lift stations. The pilot will focus on technologies that proactively detect and mitigate the impacts of ragging, wipes, and other non-flushable materials that commonly lead to pump inefficiencies, unplanned maintenance, and service disruptions. The objective of this pilot is to validate solutions that can operate with existing pump infrastructure, reduce manual pump cleaning and emergency callouts, extend asset life, and provide measurable operational and financial benefits. Solutions may include intelligent controllers, drive based systems, or other technologies capable of real time monitoring and automated response to developing pump obstructions. Vendors will be evaluated on their ability to demonstrate measurable improvements in reliability, maintenance reduction, energy efficiency, and overall lifecycle cost benefits. This pilot will be for 120 days or as needed. We highly recommend online submission. This expedites the process and reduces errors for both buyer and supplier.
