Aquatic Vegetation Control (Cattails, Bullrush or any vegetation raising above the water line)
Cattails, bulrush, and any vegetation extending above the waterline shall be treated as part of routine maintenance (bi-weekly from March through October, and once a month November through February). The contractor will be held responsible for ensuring that cattails, bulrush, and other aquatic vegetation are properly managed and do not become overgrown or unmanageable. Should aquatic vegetation reach an overgrown or unmanageable state, the contractor shall promptly rectify the issue at no additional cost to the City of Avondale.

The Contractor acknowledges that it is responsible for reviewing the project locations, site conditions, lake sizes, and pictures associated with this solicitation prior to submitting a quotation. Failure to conduct a site visit shall not relieve the Contractor of the responsibility to perform the required services for the submitted pricing.
