    Description

    The Maryland Historical Trust (MHT), which operates in the Maryland Department of Planning, is seeking an individual or firm to provide services as outlined in the attached Request for Proposal (RFP). Offerors who meet the expertise and experience requirements and are interested in submitting a proposal to provide such services must submit a proposal to the Procurement Officer to the e-mail listed on the Notice to Interested Parties sheet. The entire proposal must be delivered by email and received no later than 5:00 PM, April 1, 2026. The purpose of this Request for Proposal ('RFP") is to obtain a qualified consultant or consultant team to conduct archaeological research and excavation at two sites, one in Cecil County and one in Harford County, Maryland. The Maryland Historical Trust received a National Park Service (NPS) FFY23 American Battlefield Protection Program Grant )the "ABPP Grant") which will fund the Project "Reconstructing the Revolution-era Cultural Landscapes of the Washinton-Rochambeau Military Encampments, Cecil and Harford Counties Maryland." The contract term shall start upon finalization of contract with the selected consultant or consultant team, and the Services are to be completed no later than May 3, 2027.
