Metrocare is accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms to provide professional architectural and engineering services to design our new Harbor of Hope apartment complex in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). This RFQ provides interested firms with the information necessary to prepare and submit their qualifications for consideration. To be eligible to respond to this RFQ, the Respondent must demonstrate that the company and the principals assigned to the project, have successfully completed services similar to those specified in the Scope of Services section of this RFQ, and have relevant experience and expertise in providing professional and technical services pertaining to the research, analysis, cost estimation and design required for this project. Harbor of Hope will be a new construction 26-unit apartment complex designed to serve single parents and guardians with minor children. The project site currently consists of undeveloped land, at the rear of Metrocare’s Elam Clinic located at 9209 Elam Road, Dallas, TX 75217. The selected firm will provide comprehensive design services, from conceptual design through construction administration, with a focus on trauma informed design principles, green building strategies, and long-term cost efficiency.
