The New York City Department of Education’s (NYCDOE) Division of Early Childhood Education (DECE) will release a Multiple Task Award Contract (MTAC) solicitation for Professional Development for Early Childhood Educators. The MTAC will seek proposals from organizations experienced in providing professional development in early childhood education services. DECE will collaborate with selected vendors to provide targeted professional development to identify pre-kindergarten and NYCDOE early childhood staff to build the capacity of pre-kindergarten programs in New York City in one of the following components: Component A - Professional development designed for teachers, paraprofessionals (i.e. assistant teachers, teacher aides), family workers, parent coordinators, teacher leaders and/or coaches across all Pre-K for All settings, inclusive of New York City Early Education Centers (NYCEECs), district schools, charter schools, and Pre-K Centers. Component B - Professional development designed for principals, site administrators, coaches, borough administrators, and/or NYCEEC directors. Component C - Professional development designed for building the capacity of DECE staff that support programs on an ongoing basis such as Instructional Coordinators and Social Workers.
