    The City of Redlands invites your proposal to provide as-needed general landfill services at the California Street Landfill. The City is seeking an experienced, responsible, and capable consultant to provide as-needed services, which include the decommissioning of non-operable sumps, removal of old non-operable methane gas lines, remediation of horizontal well heads with liquid blockages, and the relocation of small portions of gas header systems for the California Street Landfill.The successful Proposer shall demonstrate the capacity to furnish as-needed services in order to improve landfill gas management, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance operational efficiency. Proposer is to provide all equipment, labor, materials and services as may be necessary for completing the work identified in the Scope of Services.The Purchase Order will be issued for a one (1) year period, beginning July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027. The Purchase Order will be issued in a as-needed, amount not-to-exceed sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) capacity. Quantities may be increased or diminished.PRICE/COST All charges should be included on the Price Sheet which includes all associated costs (including but not limited to delivery, freight, etc.)PREVAILING WAGES When applicable, the City is subject to the State of California prevailing wage laws as set forth in California Labor Code Section 1770 et seq. The contractor is responsible for determining the appropriate Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) classification for the various employees and subcontractors used for a particular project or service. The rates for each classification are posted on the DIR website at http://www.dir.ca.gov/DIRdatabases.htmlTERMS AND CONDITIONS By submitting a bid, vendors acknowledge conformity with all of the bid notices and attached and written Terms and Conditions such as, but not limited to, insurance, business license, applicable labor codes and laws.SPECIFICATION CONFORMITY All Bidders must conform to the included/attached specifications and the products they furnish shall be of first class quality and the equipment used to provide said product shall be the best obtainable in the various trades. No advantage shall be taken by the manufacturer in the addition and/or omission of any ingredient or detail that makes the product non-compliant with any of the specifications, although such details are not mentioned in these specifications.CHANGES / MODIFICATIONS The City reserves the right to order and/or accept changes in the scope of work and/or specification and resulting contract. The successful Bidder has the right to request an equitable price adjustment in cases where modifications to the contract under the authority of this clause result in increased costs to the contractor. Price adjustments will be based on the unit prices proposed by the Bidder in response to this solicitation.
