    Description

    The Public Works Department is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide on-call signing and striping services on an as-needed basis. Work may include, but is not limited to, installation and maintenance of traffic signs, pavement striping and markings, removal of existing markings, traffic control, and related services.

    The City intends to award multiple contracts to establish a bench of pre-qualified contractors. Proposers are not required to perform all services and may submit proposals for selected portions of the work based on their qualifications and capabilities.

    Work will be assigned through task orders issued at the City’s discretion.

    Background

    The City maintains an active program of traffic control device installation and maintenance to support roadway safety and operations. To efficiently deliver these services, the City utilizes on-call contractors to supplement in-house staff and respond to varying workload demands.
