    Sealed bids will be received by the City of North Charleston, Procurement Department, 2500 City Hall Lane, 3rd Floor, Procurement Office, North Charleston, SC 29406 until Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 2:00 P.M., for the Asbestos Abatement, Demolition and Disposal of 03 Regulated Structures from Sites Within North Charleston at which time and place all Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids sent by regular mail should be addressed to: City of North Charleston, Deputy Director of Procurement, 2500 City Hall Lane, North Charleston, SC 29406. Bid’s hand delivered or sent by courier service should be addressed to: City of North Charleston, Deputy Director of Procurement, 2500 City Hall Lane, North Charleston, SC 29406. Vendor is responsible for ensuring his or her bid is received on time. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the State of South Carolina and satisfactory to the Owner in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the total offer as a guarantee that, if the Bid is accepted, the required Agreement will be executed and that a 100% Performance and Payment Bond and insurance certificates will be furnished. Checks, regardless of form, will not be accepted in lieu of a Bid Bond.
