Prince George's County, Maryland through the Office of Procurement, is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to furnish, deliver, and, where applicable, stockpile asphalt cold mix and hot mix materials in support of roadway maintenance and emergency repair operations administered by the Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T), Office of Highway Maintenance (OHM). Asphalt cold mix and hot mix are critical materials used in patching potholes, surface repairs, and addressing pavement deficiencies throughout the County's roadway network. These materials are especially vital during cold weather months when conventional hot mix asphalt is unavailable or impractical to apply. This procurement will ensure that DPW&T/OHM maintains safe, serviceable roadways through timely repairs that prevent further pavement deterioration and improve public safety. All materials procured under this contract must comply with applicable Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) and Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) specifications and quality standards.
