Ipas is conducting a Sustainable Abortion Ecosystem Assessment workshop in East London, Eastern Cape Province, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Health PDoH) and community stakeholders. The Ecosystem Assessment is intended to assess and understand the environment in which people make abortion decisions. This dynamic process is meant to create an enabling environment, ensure active accountability and commitment among all stakeholders, and provide opportunities to respond to dynamic shifts in the abortion ecosystem.Key Responsibilities This consultant will consolidate the findings of the Abortion Ecosystem Assessment and produce a final report on these findings.Scope of Work for the Consultant The Consultant is expected to execute the assignments at the venue and/or their own premises using their own property and technology, and hold direct responsibility for the quality of delivered outputs. The detailed activity outputs expected from the consultant are intended as guidelines; the Consultant is expected to provide input based on their own knowledge and experience. The Consultant will be orientated on the Abortion Ecosystem Assessment tool after which they will be expected to: • Take notes during the workshop, review, and complete the eight components of the Abortion Ecosystem Assessment tools • Analyse the data and consolidate the results • Write a concise report summarizing the district and provincial level findings of the Abortion Ecosystem Assessments and the Action Plans.Kindly refer to the attached RFP document for detailed qualification requirements and submission instructions.
