    Description

    BASIS BBR Schools, Inc. is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced transportation service providers to furnish comprehensive student transportation services for its Baton Rouge, Louisiana campuses for the 2026–2027 school year.The selected contractor will provide safe, reliable, and compliant transportation services for students attending BASIS Baton Rouge – Materra Campus and BASIS Baton Rouge – Mid City Campus. Services include daily home‑to‑school and school‑to‑home transportation using designated neighborhood bus stops, as well as a dedicated inter‑campus shuttle route operating between the two campuses.Proposals must include two routing configurations: A primary routing plan with bus stops located within one (1) mile walking distance of eligible student residences; and An alternative routing plan with bus stops located within two (2) miles walking distance of eligible student residences.In addition, the contractor shall provide a daily inter‑campus shuttle route with morning service from the Mid City Campus to the Materra Campus and afternoon return service from the Materra Campus to the Mid City Campus.The contractor shall furnish all labor, vehicles, equipment, supervision, and operational management necessary to perform services in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations governing student transportation. Services will be evaluated based on cost, technical approach, safety and compliance, experience and qualifications, and operational capacity.The initial contract term will be one (1) year, from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, with options to renew for up to three additional one‑year periods by mutual agreement.All proposals must be submitted electronically through the BASIS Bonfire procurement portal in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Request for Proposal.
