Q (No subject): Can the County provide the current or most recent contract pricing for bee removal services, including typical service categories such as ground-level removals, elevated/high-access removals, and emergency or after-hours services? Additionally, please confirm if anticipated service volumes or historical usage data can be shared.
A: Based on our current purchase order, we are paying $65 for regular service and $80 for expedited service. These prices were based on three quotes, not a formal bid as we are doing at this time. The solicitation document states that county departments have spent approximately $50,000 annually on the services, but that may not be indicative of future buying patterns.
Q (No subject): What is the Historical breakdown of services (removal vs eradication)
A: There is not a historical breakdown of services to provide, however the typical intent is for bees to be removed alive. Eradication may be requested in the event of a public safety issue.
