Bidding documents are planned to be available no later than April 9, 2026.

Wiseburn Unified School District of Los Angeles County (WUSD) will receive electronic bids from contractors holding a type “B” license, on the following: Bid #2026-02 – TK Playground & Shade Structure Projects at Del Aire Elementary School DSA #03-125981 per bid specifications. This scope of work is estimated to be between $220,000 to $260,000 and includes the following: Existing playground equipment and synthetic turf will be removed, ensuring safe dismantling and disposal. New playground equipment will be installed per the manufacturer's specifications for secure, compliant assembly. A shade structure will be anchored over the playground. Poured-in-place rubber flooring and synthetic turf will be installed with proper site preparation and finishing to meet safety standards and other associated improvements per bid documents.

Prequalification Due Date & Instructions for Application Submission: All applications are due no later than 4/20/26 - Wiseburn Unified School District has contracted with Colbi Technologies, Inc. to provide a web-based process for prequalification called QualityBidders. To submit an application at no cost please visit www.qualitybidders.com. Once you have been approved, you will receive an email indicating your approval expiration date and approval limit.

Job Walk location: Del Aire Elementary School located at 12110 Hindry Ave, Hawthorne, CA 90250 – All Attending Contractors MUST meet the District representatives at the campus main entrance, DO NOT disrupt the school staff in the front office. Bidders will be escorted onto the campus from that location.
