The City will receive bids by 4:30 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2026, for the publication of legal notices.
Section 19.5 of the City Charter of the City of Redondo Beach provides in part that the annual contract for the publication of all legal notices or other matter required to be published in a newspaper of general circulation circulated in the City of Redondo Beach shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.

  The City will receive bids by 4:30 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2026. Bids will not be publicly opened. Bids shall be submitted electronically through the City’s procurement portal hosted by OpenGov on the City’s website at https://procurement.opengov.com\portal\redondo Bids received after specified date and time will be considered late and will not be accepted. The City of Redondo Beach reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and, to the extent permitted by law, to waive any irregularities, defects or informalities in any bid received.

• Bid Bond (required) —

  Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier’s check, or bid bond, in the amount of XXXXXof the total bid price, payable toCity of Redondo Beach, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening.

  Please have the Bidder Name, Contract Title ("BID CC-2526-008 Publication of Legal Notices"), and Contract Number ("BID CC-2526-008") listed clearly on the outside of the envelope.

• Contract Execution, Payment Bond, Performance Bond, and Certificate(s) of Insurance (required) —

  The contract shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall be returned, together with the Payment Bond, Performance Bond and Certificate(s) of Insurance to City of Redondo Beach so that it is received within 14 working daysafter the bidder has received the contract for execution. Failure to do so shall be just cause for forfeiture of the proposal guaranty.

  Will there be an evaluation committee to review the proposals and score them based on weights and multiple criteria?
