    Separate, sealed bids for the 2026 Headland Avenue Redwater Project will be received by the City of Dothan, office of the Purchasing Agent, until 2:00 P.M. local time, June 16, 2026, and then at the City Commission Chambers and publicly opened and read aloud. The project work consists of furnishing all material, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary to install approximately 150 linear feet of 2” Type “K” copper water main with all appurtenances, 2,970 linear feet of 2” SDR-21 CLASS 200 slip-on joint PVC water main with all appurtenances, 8,300 linear feet of 6” DR-18 CLASS 150 slip-on joint PVC water main with all appurtenances, 2,380 linear feet of 6” C100/C151 Class 350 ductile iron water main with all appurtenances, and 435 linear feet of 8” DR-18 Class 150 slip-on joint and fusible PVC water main with all appurtenances. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Each bidder shall comply with all applicable State and Local laws concerning licensing, registration, and regulation of firms doing business in the State of Alabama. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
