The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of the following: Base Bid • Restoration of the steel slide structure at the Big Splash Family Aquatic Center, 2831 Southwest Blvd., Grove City, OH 43123 Alternate Bid 1 • Slide surface restoration The estimated costs of construction for the work outlined in the specifications for the various bids are: Base Bid: $150,000 Alternate Bid 1: $50,000 In order to be considered, Contractors must submit bids on the Base Bid. Due to the nature of the building’s use, the Work shall be substantially completed in accordance with one of the following timeframes: Option 1: Substantial completion no later than May 10, 2026; or Option 2: Work may begin after the season ends on September 8, 2026, with substantial completion achieved no later than December 31, 2026. Access to the site outside of the dates specified above is strictly prohibited. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at The Big Splash Family Aquatic Center, 2831 Southwest Blvd., Grove City, OH 43123 on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 10 am to inspect structures and equipment, take measurements, review facility location, and discuss any questions potential bidders may have.
