    Project Name: Jolliff Tipple and Portal: Project Description: The Jolliff Tipple and Portal Project is located in Flushing Township, Belmont County, Ohio. The nearest address to the project is 41470 Black Oak Road, Flushing, Ohio 43977. Directions to the site are as follows: From Cambridge, Take I-70 east to Exit 204 for US-40E. Continue US-40E for 0.1 mile. Turn right onto National Road for 3.4 miles. Turn left onto OH-149 N. After 1.8 miles, turn right onto Mount Hope Road. After 3 miles, turn left into Lafferty Road for 450 feet. Turn left onto Harrah Street and continue onto Black Oak Road. After 2 miles, turn onto Stewart Road and follow for 0.1 miles. The project site entrance will be on the right side of the roadway located at latitude 40.12372° and longitude -81.04290°. The project consists of the demolition of an existing approx. thirty (30) foot tall metal coal tipple structure and associated onsite concrete structures. The metal from the coal tipple shall be processed onsite and left for the landowner and concrete structures shall be buried on site. Additionally, an existing concrete mine portal shall be closed off by the installation of a metal bat gate structure. Once work is completed on the site, the work limits shall be restored, fertilized, seeded and mulched. Additional work includes clearing and grubbing of the work limits, installation of a stoned laydown pad, installation of stone on the access road as needed and surveying.
