INVIATION TO BID Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Bolton until 2:00 PM local standard time on Friday, May 1, 2026 at the Bolton Landing Town Hall, 4949 Lake Shore Drive, Bolton Landing, NY 12814 for the project “Bolton Town Hall Exterior Repairs.” Bids are to be submitted only on the Bid Proposal Form provided. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the outside clearly marked with the project name and the name and address of the bidder. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Bolton Town Hall at bid closing. This is a single-prime contract. This project is tax-exempt. Electronic Bid Documents in .pdf format may be obtained by prime contract and subcontract bidders, free of charge, by sending an email to the office of the Architect: • Oldenquist Design, Nina@OldenquistDesign.com (518) 726-6557 • cc: Bolton Town Planner, Christopher Belden, Belden.C@BoltonNY.gov Indicate “Bolton Town Hall Exterior Repairs” in the subject line. Email shall include: company name, contact name, contact telephone number, and email address. The email address used to request documents will be the same email address used for the distribution of Addenda during the bidding process. Printed Bid Documents may be viewed at the Bolton Landing Town Hall, 4949 Lake Shore Dr., during the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 pm weekdays. A pre-bid walk-through is scheduled for Tuesday April 21, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the project site. Prospective bidders may view the site at other times. All bidding and performance shall be performed in compliance with the Construction Documents, including drawings, supplemental scopes or work, alternates, unit prices, Project Manual, and all addenda issued thereto. Bids shall be binding for 45 days from the bid opening. The Town of Bolton reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bids will be evaluated based on bid responsiveness and capital cost, and the Town reserves the right to award the Contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interest of the Town. Required Bonds: • Bid Bond in the form of a certified check or bank (cashier’s) check made payable to the Town of Bolton in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bidder’s maximum amount. Bid Bonds will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. • Performance Bond in the amount of the contract price. • Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of the contract price.
