    Imperial Irrigation District (IID), an irrigation district established under Division 11 of the California Water Code, Sections 20500 et seq., that provides non-potable water, farm drainage and power services to the lower southeastern portion of California's desert, is requesting proposals from highly qualified Respondents to:Implement a dust control plot on a portion of the Bombay Beach Playa at eastern shore of the Salton Sea. Requested services include the following:• Procure and install site access control features• Construct stormwater management features• Construct surface water catchment features• Procure, install and commission an irrigation system.• Seedbed preparation and seedingCRITICAL DATES FOR ACTION:1. Mandatory Meeting/ JobwalkThere will be a mandatory meeting and jobwalk which will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 9:30 a.m., Local Time, potential respondents will meet at the intersection of Avenue A and CA-111, Bombay Beach, CA, see page 6 for map and directions. The jobwalk will be conducted following the meeting. Firms planning to attend should confirm their attendance with Mr. Marty P. Holbrook, purchasing agent via email to purchasing@iid.com. Responses will not be accepted from respondents not attending this mandatory meeting (See attached files). Prospective respondents must be present and signed in prior to the start of the mandatory meeting. Anyone not signed in at the official start of the meeting will be considered late and will not be allowed to submit a proposal. Anyone who does not attend the entire mandatory meeting will not be credited with attending. Closed toe shoes are required.2.
