    Riverside County Park and Open-Space District (“RivCoParks”) is seeking contractors (“Proposers”) to submit proposals to design, fabricate and deliver a cohesive trail signage program for the Box Springs Mountain Reserve Trail Signage Project (“Project”) along various trails within the Project footprint (Attachment C, Exhibits). The objective of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to provide Proposers with the necessary information so that they can submit to RivCoParks a written proposal for the Project which ultimately leads to the selection of the best contractor for the Project. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To enhance the visitor experience at Box Springs Mountain Reserve, RivCoParks (hereon referred to as “District”) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to design and fabricate a cohesive trail signage program. The signage will improve wayfinding and trail safety by helping users remain on designated paths, while also providing interpretive content that highlights the Reserve’s natural resources and regional history. RivCoParks is seeking proposals from experienced contractors to design, fabricate, and deliver a cohesive trail signage program for Box Springs Mountain Reserve. The program will consist of approximately 72 signs, with the potential for additional signage as needed. Sign types may include trailhead kiosks, wayfinding signs, safety/rule signs, and interpretive sign panels along three primary trails and two connector routes within the reserve. The signage program should enhance visitor safety, improve navigation, and communicate the natural and cultural significance of the reserve.
