    Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT®) is a short-term, evidence-based family-treatment model and curriculum developed for children and adolescents between the ages of six (6) up to and including age seventeen (17) years who exhibit behavior problems such as substance use, associations with antisocial peers, bullying, truancy, and other recognized youth risk factors. BSFT® is a structured, problem-focused intervention with an emphasis on modifying maladaptive patterns of interactions within the family system, designed to improve family functioning and treat youth conduct problems. Through focused interventions and skill building strategies, BSFT® provides families with the tools to overcome individual and family risk factors.
