State Contracting & Engineering Corp. (SCEC) is the Construction Manager at Risk (CMatR) with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for Broward College.

NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Site Meeting on:

Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM (EST)

Meet at the Exterior NE Corner of Bldg. 19, Campus Address: 3501 Davie, Davie, FL 33314

Bid documents will be available from State Contracting & Engineering Corp. (SCEC) by email to Adrian Viera, Pre-Construction Manager, at (aviera@statecontracting.com).

The scope of work may include, but is not limited to: modification and addition for site flagpoles, signage, and electrical improvements.

Broward College encourages small business participation in all College procurements and requires that all small business subcontractors get pre-qualified to bid on this project.

Please note that ALL Subcontractors MUST be pre-qualified with State Contracting & Engineering Corp. (SCEC) prior to the Sealed Bid Due Date. For a pre-qualification package, please email Adrian Viera, Pre-Construction Manager, at (aviera@statecontracting.com).

Responses to Questions or requests for information will be sent to all subcontractors via email on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 with the subject line: Responses – Broward College (#1000-C25-02.0) Central Campus Entrance Improvements.

All SEALED BIDS MUST be received by Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM (EST) at State Contracting & Engineering Corp. (SCEC) offices, located at 5391 N Nob Hill Road, Sunrise, FL 33351. Sealed bids/envelopes shall be labeled appropriately with the project number and name.

DO NOT DELIVER BIDS TO BROWARD COLLEGE. All sealed bids will be logged in and time/date stamped when they are received at the State Contracting & Engineering Corp. (SCEC) offices. LATE BIDS, FAX, OR E-MAIL BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

All SEALED bids will be opened publicly on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM (EST) at Broward College Central Campus located at 3501 Davie Rd, FL 33314, Bldg. 23, Conference Room 23-103. Broward College reserves the right to waive minor technicalities.
