The County of Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency (CCIDA) is seeking the services of a qualified and professional environmental consulting firm (or firms) to serve as a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP). The successful QEP will coordinate, manage, monitor, direct, and oversee the Site Assessment Project under the Site Assessment, advise CCIDA on strategies, and provide regulatory and reporting support for the Site Assessment. The QEP will serve as a valuable expert consultant to help ensure that funded Site Assessment projects are conducted in accordance with state and federal environmental standards and improve the environmental health of the community. The QEP will also assist by providing direction to CCIDA staff and grant/loan applicants about cost‐effective means of achieving regulatory closure for hazardous and/or petroleum contaminated sites. This solicitation is not specific to any site, property, or environmental task. The Contract period will run for approximately three (3) years with the ability to extend the Contract period contingent on availability of funds.
