NOTICE TO BIDDERS MARIPOSA COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT INVITES PROPOSALS FOR: BULL CREEK ROAD – PERMANENT REPAIRS THE COUNTY OF MARIPOSA sealed bids for the improvements for the Bull Creek Road – Permanent Repairs. Project 0301-1702-41 - Scope: Reestablish Bull Creek Road’s gravel roadway embankment and construct a Gabion Basket wall system. The works consists of: Reestablish Bull Creek Road’s gravel roadway embankment due to erosion from a 2017 storm event. To include; reuse of existing slide material, import materials, and compaction, install a gabion basket wall system or similar, embankment stabilization, edge of gravel roadway repair and shoulder reestablishment. The project is located in a portion of the Stanislaus National Forest within the County of Mariposa. It is a remote location and is approximately 1.3 miles east of the Bull Creek Road and Old Yosemite Road intersection. The project specifications are inclusive of the Stanislaus National Forest, Federal Highway Administration, in addition to Mariposa County. Completion of Work in 60 Calendar Working Days; Liquidated Damages $250/day; Prevailing Wage Required, DBE Required.
