    Description

    The Department of Parks and Recreation, Monterey District, is seeking qualified bids from contractors to provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to pump, haul, and dispose of sewage and waste from multiple septic vaults and holding tanks at various State Park facilities within Monterey County, California. Contractors must carry a current and valid Liquid Waste Hauler Permit as required and issued by the County of Monterey Health Department. Review and read the attached bid solicitation package in its entirety and make sure all bid forms are complete before submitting your bid (refer to Notice To Contractors, page 3 on the bid solicitation package). All bids must be received no later than 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026. Bid opening will take place via conference call at 1:00 p.m. January 16, 2026. Questions & Answers (Q & A) period: All discrepancies, omissions, ambiguities, or conflicts in or among the contract documents or doubts as to meaning shall be brought to the State's attention by emailing your questions directly to monterey.contractbids@parks.ca.gov NO LATER THAN 2:00 p.m., seven (7) calendar days prior to bid opening. Answers will be provided by an Addendum, which will be posted within the Bid Solicitation located on the Caleprocure website. It is the responsibility of the bidder to download any addenda/addendum as needed.
