    Description

    The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), Monterey District, is seeking qualified bids from contractors to provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the rental and servicing of chemical toilets, as well as servicing of state-owned chemical toilets, and for septic tank and/or vault, and lift station pumping and disposal services within Monterey County, California. Contractors MUST carry a current and valid Liquid Waste Hauler Health Permit as required and issued by the County of Monterey Health Department. Review and read the attached bid solicitation package for the detailed work specifications and required bid documents. Please refer to the Notice To Contractors section on page 3 of the solicitation package for all forms and permit required for bid submission. All bids must be received and submitted electronically to monterey.contractbids@parks.ca.gov no later than 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 All bids will be publicly opened via conference call at 3:00 p.m. on April 1, 2026. Questions & Answers (Q & A) period: All discrepancies, omissions, ambiguities, or conflicts in or among the contract documents or doubts as to meaning shall be brought to the State's attention by emailing your questions directly to monterey.contractbids@parks.ca.gov NO LATER THAN 2:00 p.m., seven (7) calendar days prior to bid opening. Answers will be provided by an Addendum, which will be posted within the Bid Solicitation located on the Caleprocure website. It is the responsibility of the bidder to download any addenda/addendum as needed.
