Café Project

THE PROJECTS BIDDING DOCUMENTS ARE PLANNED TO BE AVAILABLE NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 10, 2025.

Da Vinci Schools of Los Angeles County (WUSD) will receive electronic bids from contractors holding a type “B” license, on the following: Bid #DVSCH-01-2526 – Café Project at Da Vinci High School DSA #03-124946 per bid specifications. This scope of work is estimated to be between $200,000 to $230,000 and includes the following: renovation of the existing entry café which includes all construction and services required to renovate the existing café space, remove and replace all finishes (i.e., flooring, ceiling, wall), install café equipment and appliances, provide pony stud wall partitions, countertops, as well as MEPT appurtenances. Modifications of existing fire alarm and fire suppression will be required, plus installation of staff lockers and shelving at the Dry Storage Room and other associated improvements per bid documents.

All bids must be submitted electronically as per the instructions included in the bidding documents on or before 11/4/25 no later than 2:00 PM. All General Contractors and Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (M/E/P) Subcontractors must be pre-qualified for this project per bidding documents.

Prequalification Due Date & Instructions for Application Submission: All applications are due no later than 10/21/25 – Da Vinci Schools in partnership with Wiseburn Unified School District has contracted with Colbi Technologies, Inc. to provide a web-based process for prequalification called QualityBidders. Mandatory Job Walk: 10/16/25 @ 1:30 PM

Job Walk location: 1) Da Vinci High School Building located at 201 N Douglas St, El Segundo CA 90245 – All Attending Contractors MUST meet the District representatives at the campus main entrance. Bidders will be escorted onto the campus from that location.
