    Description

    The Request for Qualifications which includes the general contract provisions and specifications will be available on or about Friday, May 8, 2026. An informational meeting to discuss the projects will be held for all interested applicants via Teams on May 12, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. EST to those who have requested an application. Please email Shawn Rice, Project Manager at srice@acdsinc.org to register for the informational session and to receive an application. Up to three (3) semi-finalist artists/artist teams will be selected for the project, and one final artist will be awarded the project based on the evaluation and selection of the Artist Selection Committee. To the maximum extent feasible, opportunities for contracting in connection with this project shall be given to MBE’s/WBE’s. The selected artist will not discriminate in any manner against any employee or applicant for employment on the basis of race, creed, color, handicap, or national origin; and is obligated to include a similar requirement in all subcontracts. Questions regarding this notice should be directed Shawn Rice, Project Manager, at srice@acdsinc.org. Questions will be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026. A summary of questions received and answered at the informational meeting and via email will be made available to all interested artists who requested an application. In general, the successful Artist will be required to perform design development, surface preparation, priming and painting of mural, sealing mural, and permitting (as needed). Funding for this project is being made available through Local Development Council funds.
