Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide Campus Towing Services to the Albany State University (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ. The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia By and On Behalf of Albany State University is requesting bids from qualified firms to provide Towing Services for both the Albany State University East and West Campus locations. The Awarded Supplier will work closely with the Albany State University Parking Services and other Institute Departments (i.e. ASUPD) to meet the University¿s towing needs twenty four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, three hundred sixty five (365) days a year. Parking Services at Albany State University is one of five operating units within the Auxiliary Services Division. As do most of the Auxiliary Services units, Parking Services interfaces with the entire campus population and constituencies¿. The services provided by Parking Services are as diverse and customer oriented as the consumers served. Auxiliary Services oversees both the campus parking operations and transportation services. Parking Services is responsible for providing parking access to the ASU campus and self-operates a comprehensive parking management program, to include enforcement and adjudication. Parking Enforcement primarily operates Monday through Friday and during special events. Parking Enforcement utilizes cutting-edge technology and integration to promote effective and efficient management and control. The towing program will support the Parking Operations by providing the needed towing service for campus. These services may include towing 1-20 vehicles on any given day or 20-25 vehicles during football games.
