    Q (bid item 61): Please provide a detail/plan for the "replace riser section and adjust catch basin" item. include elevations if available

    A: For complete answer to this question, please see the attached pdf in the "Addenda & Notices" tab. Photos included in the pdf. An Addendum will be issued shortly in response to the question.


    Q (Survey): With no separate “Survey” bid item included, is the County providing survey services beyond those associated with the ADA Features bid item? If so, please clarify what survey services will be provided.

    A: The only staking to be provided by the Contractor as a bid item will be for ADA features. All other staking shall be requested by the contractor and provided by Pierce County in accordance with the Contract Provisions, Specifications, and Plans.


    Q (sidewalk/ada ramps): please provide a profile detail or thickness for sidewalks and ramps.

    A: Per Pierce County Standard Drawings, sidewalk shall be 4” thick and curb ramps shall be 6” thick.


    Q (bid item 60 measurement clarification): Please confirm whether HMA, roadway excavation, and curb and gutter work required as part of Adjust Catch Basin operations will be measured and paid under their respective bid items, or if they are included in the Adjust Catch Basin item

    A: The road ex, HMA, remove curb, new curb will all be paid for under their separate bid items. See 7-05 for Adjust Catch Basin specifications.
