The Cell Improvement and Related Work project consists of the following scope of work: repairs, retrofits, and/or replacement of the furniture, fixtures, and equipment located in the inmate cells; renovation of the inmate showers; application/installation of new resinous and resilient flooring system in cells, dayrooms and other housing unit support spaces; and the select replacement of the specialty cell detention doors. Project construction is expected to kick off in September with a total contract term of approximately 17 calendar months, with 14 calendar months of on-site construction.
