    The City of Georgetown is accepted sealed bids for the construction project: Carriage Oaks EST Rehabilitation The project consists of furnishing, installing and providing all labor and materials required for The project consists of furnishing and installing and providing all labor and materials required for the following Work: 1. General Tank Repairs including but not limited to the interior/exterior Welding Repairs, Corrosion Related Repairs, and General Repairs. Items such welding, grinding, and sealing of any pitting that are deemed necessary to restore the integrity of this tank. These repairs would include items that become apparent after sandblasting of the tank’s surfaces. 2. Interior and exterior sandblasting, cleaning and recoating include containment, protection, dehumidification, and dust control. a. Replacement of nuts and bolts at the ladder to riser connections with triple dipped galvanized hardware after abrasive blasting and before coating application. 3. Replacement of the 18” expansion joint and 18” butterfly valve on inlet/outlet piping and the base of the pedestal. 4. Replacement of two (2) 36”x36” roof access hatches. 5. Replacement of the interior pedestal access ladder safety climb system, interior access tube ladder safety climb system, and interior wet access ladder safety climb system. 6. Removal of the existing ladder safety cage and installation of self-closing swing gates and modifications on the intermediary ladder platforms. 7. Cleaning and recoating of the interior overflow piping and weir cone within the tanks bowl. 8. Installation of a passive mixing system on the inlet/outlet piping. 9. Relocation and securing of the existing electrical/coax cables in the access tube. 10. Replacement of the obstruction light, photocell, and lightbulbs on tanks roof. 11. Sediment removal of the tanks bowl and disinfection prior to re-filling of the tank and placing it back into service. 12. Installation, integration, and maintenance of a temporary pressure system during rehabilitation. and miscellaneous items, as more fully described in the Drawings and the summary of work contained in Section CIP 3.
