Where the boundary is unclear, it will be marked off with flags. Any excessive ruts shall be manually restored. The machine shall avoid mulching the material into the soil. Material shall be left on the ground surface.

Q (Ground softness): What will the condition of the site be pertaining to ground water and soft soil? If it is wet, ruts will be almost impossible to correct. Please advise.
A: Site condition varies within the mapped area and with weather patterns. Any excessive rutting will be decided upon by the NRC contract manager. He will make the assessment if restoration is needed and if it’s feasible to do so. The contractor’s responsibility is to avoid excessive rutting.
