    Description

    A.  PURPOSE

    The Bridgeton Board of Education seeks competitive proposals from qualified respondents to use the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to provide behavioral and emotional support for our Special Education Students.

     

    B.  SCOPE OF SERVICE

    The chosen agency shall provide school-based functional behavioral assessments and professional development to our staff and parents, in addition to vendors already contracted in the 2026-2027 school year, designed to train and support teachers and classroom staff. Services provided shall include but shall not be limited to the following:

     

    • A behavior consultant shall be on-site in the district for a minimum of (five) days a week during the 2026-2027 school year to provide on-site behavioral support. Teacher and staff training shall focus on assessment and managing challenging behavior in the classroom.
    • The agency shall provide training to classroom teachers and parents in developing and implementing monitoring programs.  Programs shall be designed to improve behavior in school and at home.
    • ABA Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities in the ABA Setting.
    • Assessment and Intervention Skills: Proficient in conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans on the principles of ABA.
    • Supporting Child Study Teams in collaboration in developing the FBA/BIP for challenging behaviors of some of our Special Education Students.
    • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team.
    • Reinforcement shall be provided throughout the school year to assist staff in developing and maintaining a behaviorally sound environment within the classroom.
    • Provide direct ABA services: Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy, utilizing behavior analytic techniques to promote behavior change and skill development.
    • Board Certified Behavior Analyst or appropriately licensed Clinician shall adequately support our students during and after school hours.
    • Working collaboratively with our Speech Specialists on strategies to work with non-verbal autistic students.
    • All invoices will be provided at an agreed-upon time to the Business Administrator.
    • All agency employees assigned to the district must be fingerprinted
