    Subject: CCUA Odor Control Products and Services

    Clay County Utility Authority intends to award a procurement as a Sole Source Procurement in accordance with its Procurement Policy 7.7, and State of Florida Statute 287.057 (3) (c).  Any responses received as a result of this Notice of Intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will not be considered as proposals, bids, or quotes.

     

    Background

    CCUA intends to award a sole-source procurement to purchase Odor Control Products and Services. CCUA would contract this procurement with Precision Odor Control. They are the exclusive distributor for the sale and service of the Ecolo Odor Control System for Clay County.

     

    The Ecolo Odor Control System is a turnkey odor mitigation solution that utilizes proprietary odor-neutralizing chemistry and automated delivery equipment to control hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, mercaptans, and other nuisance odors commonly associated with wastewater treatment operations. The system can be customized for pump stations, treatment plants, sludge handling facilities, and lagoons, providing continuous odor control, improved environmental compliance, and reduced impacts on neighboring communities.
