    Description

    Dane County is soliciting applications from organizations interested in the Homebuilding project area, which is the development of affordable new housing for low-and-moderate income residents of the Dane County Urban County Consortium. Homebuilding is defined as new construction of single-family homes, paired with the Mortgage Reduction Assistance loan for the low- to moderate-income household purchasing the home. Funding is expected to be available under the HUD-funded Home Investment Partnership (HOME) funds. This change in funding source and its implications will be discussed with prospective Subrecipient(s). Please refer to the attached documents for more details.

    The maximum amount of funding for the Homebuilding project area is approximately $140,000.00 and it is expected that multiple projects will be funded in this category.
