No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The project generally consists of the construction of an MSW landfill cell described as Cell Nos. 6A & 6B. Construction will include earthwork, erosion control, composite liner construction, geosynthetics installation, protective cover and leachate collection system, stormwater and a perimeter access road. An optional Pre-Bid meeting will be held Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 10:00 A.M., local time, at the landfill office, 88 Landfill Road, Thomasville, GA 31757. Interested bidders are encouraged to attend. Plans, Specifications, and Bid Documents may be obtained from Hodges, Harbin, Newberry & Tribble, Inc, at 3920 Arkwright Road, Suite 101 Macon, Ga 31210, upon payment of $150.00 per set. Extra sets $50.00. (Non-refundable). Proposals will not be considered by Owner unless Bidder is on record as purchasing and receiving complete Bid Documents. Deadline for receipt of plans and spec¿s is 2:00 pm on April 15, 2026. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, to re-advertise, and/or to award the contract in the best interest of the City.
