    Funding for this project has been provided by Title 7, Chapter 201, Agriculture Code of Texas, and Title 31, Part 17, Chapter 529, Texas Administrative Code.

     

    Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, material and equipment and performing all work required for Chambers Creek Site 58 Repair, Johnson County, Texas, will be received until 10:00 a.m. local time, April 16, 2026, by the Johnson County Soil and Water Conservation District (JCSWCD), at the Johnson County AgriLife Extension Service Bldg., 109 West Chambers St., Cleburne, TX 76033-5511.  Bids will be publicly opened at that time.

     

    Bids may be hand carried to the bid opening, or they may be submitted by mail or handcarried to Paula Burgess, Contracting Officer, Johnson County Soil and Water Conservation District Office, 1208 W. Henderson St., Suite B, Cleburne, TX 76033 prior to bid opening day.  Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled:

    All bidders must be registered in www.SAM.gov. All bidders must also register at CIVCASTUSA.com to be able to download the solicitation documents. 

     

    Bid documents, specifications, and drawings will be posed at https://www.civcastusa.com/ on or about March 26, 2026.

     

    There will be a pre-bid conference and site visit beginning at 2:00 p.m. on April 2, 2026, to be held at the Johnson County AgriLife Extension Service Bldg., 109 West Chambers St., Cleburne, TX 76033-5511.  Attendance is not mandatory.  However, prospective bidders are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to attend the conference and site showing.

     

    All bids require a bid guarantee not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid including options.  Requirements are outlined in PART I, Subpart B, Instructions to Bidders.  The successful bidder will be required to submit payment and performance bonds within 5 (five) workdays after receipt of Notice of Award per PART III, Supplemental Conditions, Article 13.

     

    ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE:  $750,000 to $1,000,000.
    PERFORMANCE TIME:  150 calendar days, holidays and weather days not included.

    WORKSITE LOCATION:  3.5 miles N and 1 mile W of Grandview, Southeast Johnson  Co.

    JCSWCD is the Contracting Local Organization (CLO) responsible for soliciting and awarding a local contract for this project.
