    Description

    The City of Chicopee requests sealed bids from Contractors for Bid 26/12 Chicopee Comprehensive High School Track Replacement. Project consists of the removal and disposal of the existing rubberized track surfacing and asphalt base, paving a new asphalt base, and installing a new urethane bound rubberized track surfacing complete with painted event markings.

     

    A certified check, bond or money order, payable to the City of Chicopee, must accompany each

    bid as a bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the value of the bid.

     

    A performance bond and a labor & materials (payment bond) bond each in the full amount of the

    Contract price will be required from the successful bidder.

     

    The estimated cost of the entire project is $800,000

     

    The conditions of employment and Minimum Wage Rates, as set fourth by the Massachusetts

    commissioner of Labor and Industries, chapter 149, Section 26 to 27F. The wage rates are included in the specifications.
