    Description

    The Office of Attorneys for Children of the Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department, is posting for the Chief Attorney position in the Clinton County Children's Law Office. The Chief Attorney represents child clients and manages the office, including coordination and oversight of the activities of other staff. In addition, the Chief Attorney interacts with interested individuals concerning the operation of the office, including the Judiciary and panel members. Admission to the practice of law in New York State, and in good-standing, is required. More than five-years of substantial experience representing children in Family Court and Supreme Court is strong preferred. This agreement will provide for full-time equivalent compensation, with salary depending on the background and experience of the individual selected. The position is in-person only. Compensation in lieu of fringe benefits, as there are no provisions for health insurance or retirement benefits. A copy of the proposed agreement may be obtained from the Office of Attorneys for Children at the address below.
