Proposals will not be accepted afterwards under any circumstances. The bids will be opened at NEOMED, C Building, Room C-150, for furnishing the material and labor for the execution and construction of: Chilled Water Plant Upgrades Estimated Probable Cost of Construction Base Bid: $5,500,000 Bid Alternates: $0 Total: $5,500,000 A Pre-bid Meeting will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 at NEOMED, C Building, Room C-150. (Please arrive at Campus Operations, Door #21) The Bidder must include a Bid Guarantee and Contract Bond for 100% of the amount of his bid or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid. See Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC). Prevailing Wages and Equal Opportunity requirements are applicable to this project. Bidders are required to be enrolled in, prior to submitting a bid, and be in good standing in a Drug-Free Workplace Program (DFWP) approved by the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (OWBC), and are required to provide on the Bid form certain information relative to their enrollment in such a program; and, if awarded a Contract, shall comply with other DFWP criteria described in the General Conditions Paragraph 20.7 – Drug Free Workplace Program Participation. Domestic Steel use requirements as specified in Section 153.011, ORC applies to this project. Copies may be obtained from the Department of Administrative Services. This project is subject to the State of Ohio Encouraging Diversity, Growth, and Equity (EDGE) business Development Program. Bidders are required to submit with its Bid and with its Responsible Bidder Information Form, certain information about the certified EDGE Business Enterprise(s) participation on the project with the Bidder. The EDGE participation goal is 5%. The percentage is determined by the contracted value of goods, services, materials, and labor that are provided by certified EDGE business(es).
